HAND ROLLED FRET EDGES

Generally a feature of guitars costing thousands more, Ibanez luthiers round each fret edge by hand. Why? Grab a finger position and slide it quickly up and down the neck: notice that there’s nothing there to slow you down.

EDGE ZERO II TREMOLO

The Zero Point system makes tuning a breeze and holds tune over the course of lengthy performances, even if a string breaks.

5 PC. WIZARD PREMIUM NECK

Seasoned maple with walnut substrates gives the Wizard its stability. A flattened back, 18mm thickness at the first fret and 20mm at the 12th, gives the neck its playability.

STUD BOLT LOCKS

The more solidly each component is anchored, the greater a guitar’s sustain. These stud bolts contain inner set screws that wed the bridge to the body, maximizing string vibration.

PICKUPS

DiMARZIO® ibz HUMBUCKERS designed especially for Ibanez. The overall tone is harmonically rich and layered, as well as easily adjusted to a variety of musical needs. The RG870 adds the cool spice of a single coil pickup between two hot DiMarzio® humbuckers.
