Ken Stanton Music in Woodstock is proud to present our March Clinic: Nuevo Flamenco featuring Insonnia! This group brings forth the spirit of a Spanish sunrise with its mixture of infectious rhythms combined with hypnotic melodies. Led by guitarist virtuoso Curtis Jones, whose compositions are centered around the Spanish guitar, the group blends a contemporary sound to a traditional art form by combining Flamenco, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and Jazz to create a sound all its own. Regardless of classification, Curtis Jones and his companions - Pete Orenstein and Ken Stanton Music’s own Mark Letalien - continue to conjure up excitement through the heart and soul of their musical creations.
